Program Launch Notice
Thank you for your interest in Headwaters Behavioral Health’s Adolescent Residential Treatment Program.
Headwaters Behavioral Health is a licensed Children’s Residential Treatment Facility (CRTF) serving youth ages 12–17. As we begin operations, we are using a phased launch approach and accepting a limited number of admissions during our initial opening period. This allows our clinical and medical teams to thoughtfully scale services and ensure a safe, high-quality treatment environment as the program becomes fully operational.
Headwaters Behavioral Health is currently completing the Joint Commission accreditation process and plans to pursue Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) certification through the State of Idaho following accreditation.
Insurance credentialing and contracting with Medicaid and commercial payers are currently in progress.
Because of limited early capacity, referrals are being accepted thoughtfully during this initial phase. Referral inquiries are welcome, and our team can help determine program fit and anticipated availability.
For questions about potential placements or program eligibility, please contact our Admissions Team at
admissions@headwatersbehavioralhealth.com.
We appreciate the community’s support as we launch this program and work to expand access to high-quality behavioral health care for adolescents.
